Mai Xuân Khôi – Vas Garden Hills 11th grader wins 2 gold and 1 silver at International Stem Olympiad

From July 10 to July 16, 2024, the Grand Final of the International STEM Olympiad, the world’s largest STEM competition, was held in the Netherlands, with over 600 top students from 117 countries and territories participating.
 
 
Before this, the national and international rounds, conducted online, attracted over 22,000 students. Now in its fourth edition, the competition is open to students from grades 1 to 12, across three subjects: Computer Science, Mathematics, and Science.
 
 
Mai Xuân Khôi, a student from class 11.G4I at VAS Garden Hills, was among the 31 exceptional representatives from Vietnam selected for the Grand Final in the Netherlands. These students, ranging from grades 4 to 11, were chosen from over 1,000 candidates who competed in the previous online rounds.
 
Xuân Khôi excelled by securing 2 gold medals in Mathematics and 1 silver medal in Science, bringing honor to the Vietnamese team.
