Model United Nations (MUN) – where students’ public speaking skill is upgraded

Last October, VAS Garden Hills Campus was invited to attend Model United Nations (MUN) 2024 hosted by the British International School. MUN is designed for students to engage in problem-solving, critical thinking, debating and research.

Twelve of our students from the VAS GH Speech & Debate Society participated in this event, representing nations to address real-world problems and gain knowledge about negotiations, and global governance.

One of our students, Phan Thanh Thao (12.G4) served as a Deputy Chairman of the WHO Committee; while two of our delegates, Nguyen Minh Triet (8.G7) and Truong Cong Triet (7.G7) were awarded with Honourable Mention Awards.
