VAS achieved outstanding results with a sweep of A*/A scores in IGCSE, AS/A-LEVEL exams
2,770 A/A scores* (the highest grades) were achieved by VAS students in this year's IGCSE, AS, and A Level examinations; of which 79 VASers secured perfect A*/A grades across all their exam subjects.
Based on the results released by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), VAS students have done incredibly well in their IGCSE, AS, and A Level exams. Here's a breakdown of their achievements:
- 90% of IGCSE grades were A*-C, of which 2,176 grades are within A*-A, accounted for 64%. Especially, 42 students achieved all A*-A grades for 5-7 exam subjects.
- 75% of AS Level grades were A-C, with 382 A grades, accounted for 50% of the total grades. Especially,26 students achieved all A grades for 3-4 exam subjects.
- 70% of A Level grades were A*-C, of which 212 grades within A*-A, accounted for 53%. Especially, 11 students achieved all A*-A grades for 3-4 exam subjects
In total, VAS students achieved an impressive 2,770 A*/A scores. Among them, 79 students scored A*/A in all their subjects.
In addition to their success in the Cambridge exams, VAS Grade 12 students have also achieved remarkable results in the national high school graduation exam:
- 100% of students graduated with “Good” grade and above, with 70% graduating with “Excellent-Outstanding” grades.
- 8,23 is the combined average graduation grade of VAS students.
- 100% of exam subjects have grades higher than those from HCMC.
With such outstanding academic performance, VAS students not only have impressive transcripts but have also made their mark on the international stages with numerous scholarships and awards:
- 145 scholarships from top schools in the US, Canada, Australia, Vietnam, and more, totaling up to 157 billion VND, a 2.7-fold increase from 2023.
- 2,064 prestigious awards for academic achievements and talents in competitions from district to international levels.
