The Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) has been honored with the prestigious CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) trophy by The Saigon Times for 2024.
This prestigious CSR program honors businesses for their contributions to sustainable community development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
As the only educational institution among the 40 businesses selected this year, VAS stands out with inspiring and heartfelt stories of its students’ ongoing journey of sharing love and spreading compassion.
This award serves as a significant recognition and encouragement for all generations of “VASers for the Community,” which includes students, parents, teachers, and staff of VAS, for their unwavering efforts in spreading positive values to the community over the years.
Since 2016, VAS launched the “VAS Community Programme” to provide students with opportunities to engage in community responsibility through self-implemented projects.

Today, the VAS Community Programme has grown into one of VAS’s most inspiring community initiatives, transforming nearly 300 student-driven ideas into reality, making a meaningful impact on thousands of underprivileged families and children. Many of these projects have been sustained for years and have received various prestigious awards.
Beyond the tangible benefits to the community, the VAS Community Programme serves as a training ground, nurturing students to become responsible global citizens, ready to take action for a better world. This is how VAS develops its core values in students and cultivates a generation of changemakers, aptly known as the VAS Changeneration.
The VAS Community Programme has successfully united a vast VAS network of over 8,000 students, tens of thousands of parents, and more than 2,000 teachers and staff. Each year, the VAS community comes together to organize dozens of charitable initiatives at orphanages, hospitals, and schools in Ho Chi Minh City and remote provinces.
In 2024, the entire VAS system successfully implemented 39 projects, contributing approximately VND1.8 billion to support the community.
Additionally, VAS has nurtured 20 generations of outstanding students. Over its 20 years of growth and development, VAS has solidified its position as a leading bilingual international school in Vietnam, with nearly 8,000 students across its six campuses, all certified as Cambridge International Schools.
For more than a decade, VAS students’ achievements in the Cambridge International curriculum have consistently matched or even surpassed the global average of students from over 10,000 Cambridge schools in 160 countries.
