VAS Students Excel, Winning Second and Third Prizes at the 13th National Science and Engineering Fair

On March 21, 2025, at the awards ceremony of the National Science and Engineering Fair for high school students in Ho Chi Minh City, two research projects from VAS students impressively secured the Second Prize and Third Prize, bringing pride to VAS.

As the largest annual science and engineering competition nationwide, VAS is honored to be the only international school with two representatives in the national finals—competing alongside 10 other teams from Ho Chi Minh City, including prestigious high schools such as Lê Hồng Phong High School for the Gifted and Trần Đại Nghĩa High School for the Gifted.

Prior to this, both VAS project teams had won First Prize at the Ho Chi Minh City round. Their outstanding achievements continued at the national level:

Second Prize: Project "Research on the synthesis of biopolymer materials from orange peels and application in producing biodegradable bags". Field: Materials Science

Second Prize: Phan Nguyễn Bảo Trân & Lê Minh Thiên An – Class 12H4, Hoang Van Thu Campus

Third Prize: Project "Sleep Hygiene Practices Among High School Students at VAS Ba Thang Hai Campus – Awareness and Habits". Field: Social and Behavioral Sciences

Third Prize: Hồng Trường Nhã & Trần Hoàng Chi – Class 12B5, Ba Thang Hai Campus
