VAS Students Shine with 7 Awards at the City-Level Science and Engineering Competition
7 VAS student project teams achieved remarkable success at the City-level Secondary Science and Technology Research Competition 2024–2025, securing: 2 First Prizes, 1 Second Prize, and 4 Third Prizes.

Notably, two First Prize-winning projects from VAS Ba Thang Hai and VAS Hoang Van Thu campuses have been chosen to represent Ho Chi Minh City at the National Round, among 12 selected projects.
The First Prize Team: Hồng Trường Nhã - Trần Hoàng Chi, Lớp 12B5 – VAS Ba Tháng Hai
Project: "Sleep hygiene practice of secondary students at Ba Thang Hai campus of VAS", praised for its real-world application in promoting positive lifestyle changes among students and addressing everyday issues.
The First Prize Team: Phan Nguyễn Bảo Trân – Lê Minh Thiên An, Lớp 12H4 - VAS Hoàng Văn Thụ
Project: "Research on Synthesizing Biopolymer Materials from Orange Peels and Using Them to Create Biodegradable Bags" by the VAS Hoang Van Thu team, focuses on tackling plastic waste pollution by utilizing natural polymers found in orange peels, agar, and gelatin to create biodegradable plastic films.
These films can replace conventional plastics and manufacture eco-friendly, biodegradable bags. Using these products in everyday life will help reduce environmental harm, marking an important step toward a greener and more sustainable society.
