Dao Tuan Hung

After graduating from high school in 2016, Dao Tuan Hung, an alumni of VAS from Hoang Van Thu campus, pursued his dream of becoming a pilot and recently, he has officially become the first officer of Vietnam Airlines.

Let's listen to Tuan Hung's sharing about his exciting journey through the video recorded by himself!

After studying abroad in New Zealand, Tuan Hung shared: “Living in a foreign country is not easy at all, you have to get familiar to the environment there. Studying to become a pilot means you have to study things that you don’t usually study at home. But in return, there are a lot of cool things like being able to fly every day and explore New Zealand.”

To Hung, there are many useful skills that he is equipped with at VAS that have been helping his current job, most especially carefulness and team coordination skills:

"At VAS, I've learnt to become very careful. Especially in my case, this job, I need to be extremely careful because the safety of everyone is the top priority for flying an aircraft. And also, teamwork, cause you know you get to work with other pilots and also flight attendants to make sure everything is as safe as possible for the passengers behind you."

Let's listen to Tuan Hung's sharing and VAS hopes that the video will inspire VASers who have the dream of becoming a pilot!
