Thousands of students get excited about the free online summer courses at VAS
13 free courses covering diverse academic and talent development activities
With the theme “Make your own summer, live your own passion”, the summer courses bring students unique experiences when exploring 13 courses ranging from various academic topics to numerical talents and sports through exciting and practical activities. Students are allocated by grades with small size classes (from 10-20 students/class) so that they receive the best interaction and support during the course. The program starts from July 5th, 2021 and lasts for 5 weeks.

With regards to sports and talents development, students will get acquainted with some “Home Sports” and “Aerobics” activities or enjoy the dance moves along with “Tiktok dance” and “Music Movement”. Other interesting subjects include “Denmark Decoration Art”, “Decorating Souvenirs”, “Home Cooking & Healthy Eating”. Students interested in Science will have a chance to join such projects as “Fruit Fermentation”, “Floating House Design”, “Making lipsticks”, or learn more about “Living Green” and “Exploring the Nature”.
Especially, VAS also designed courses to prepare preschool kids, both academically and emotionally, for grade 1, and, at the same time, offered two Math and Literature revision courses for 12th graders for their final graduation exams. All these courses are designed by qualified Vietnamese and international educational experts at VAS, basing on students’ interests and needs to help them enjoy a fruitful, safe, and pleasant summer right at home.

Improving your English skills with fee-paying courses
According to the survey results of summer courses at VAS, more than 70% of students wish to improve their English communication and academic skills with foreign teachers to prepare for the new school year. Responding to this high demand, VAS opened an online General English course for different grades in 5 summer weeks. The course is delivered by 100% foreign teachers and a Vietnamese teaching assistant.
Students attending the course will take a Placement Test to be arranged in a class that matches their English capacity. The program focuses on furnishing students with sound foundation of English, broadening their vocabulary, and strengthening the 4 skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. All of these are to prepare them well for the new school year, especially for the Cambridge international educational programmes. The online courses are conducted via the Microsoft Teams, with the technical supports of experienced IT experts. VAS will award a certificate of completion to recognize students’ progress and learning outcomes if they have attended 70% or more of the program for both the free courses and the English courses.
The General English course is taught by foreign teachers
With the hope to bring a rich, academically fascinating, and creative hub for students to do and grow in this Covid-19 season, VAS online summer courses have attracted thousands of students across the country to register, only five days after its launch. (The registration portal may close earlier if the maximum number is filled).

VAS now offers a 10% discount on the tuition fee of the General English summer course when registration and payment are made prior to July 2nd, 2021. A 5% discount applies for registration and payment made before July 16th, 2021.
