English Speaking Club – ESC Outdoor
Classroom lessons were re-planned by teachers to suit the activities of the trips. Young students went around to interview foreigners in the role of ‘little reporters’ in the ‘Communication’ topic to improve their English speaking skills in real situations, thinking-in-English skills and confidence. In addition, flora and fauna topics were also taught via the field trips when the students were grouped up to do the assignments by the teachers in charge. They all had to communicate totally in English.
Native English teachers were always at the students’ side to help them with pronunciation, speaking skills, vocabulary and even confidence. Fun learning has immensely benefited the students both physically and mentally.
