Primary school fundraisers

The theme of this year's Charity Day was "Kids helping Kids". Those students, though at a young age, they enthusiastically and bravely held dozens of booths with various products ranging from food and drink, to toys, books, and game shows with prizes.

The students came up with these ideas by themselves after discussing with their peers and making proposals to teachers. "The children participated very enthusiastically. Thanks to their their parents’ support, they made flans, bread, jelly and lemon tea to sell at their booths," shared Ms. Thu Ha, form teachers of class 4.1.

At the end of the day the students raised VND18,075,000 million (US$900) in funds. The entire amount will be contributed to the charity funds of the primary school students and they themselves will transfer these funds to children at open houses during visits to be held at the end of the year.
