Primary students visiting secondary school campuses
Ba Thang Hai Campus Manager, welcomed students by a Q&A session to answer their questions as well as introduced briefly the differences between Primary and Secondary school, especially the international Cambridge program which is officially launched in the 2013-2014 academic year. The students’ innocence and loveliness were expressed through their questions, which added some fun to the atmosphere of the meeting. To enter secondary school, students need to not only be equipped with self-confidence, self-reliance, but also to change their way of thinking and learning methods. Foreseeing this need, the school collaborated with experts from TGM Corporation to share some tips to help them achieve the highest results in study. The tips are too ordinary to draw full attention, but they are very effective such as belly breathing, drinking water the right way, listening to proper music and decorating learning corners appropriately, which can help students memorize lessons more quickly and deeply.
At the end of the meeting, the students familiarized themselves with highly practical secondary school subjects. They were somehow surprised when they saw onion cells in a biology lab. They were even more excited with the familiar principles of melting and freezing temperatures of ice and salt in Chemistry by making some ice cream by themselves. In particular, the students rewarded themselves by enjoying their own products.
After participating in the Q&A session and visiting the school campuses, the students realized that entering secondary school was not difficult as they had thought if they knew how to prepare properly. In particular, this year's summer program will offer students not only training sessions on innovating perception and thinking skills and increasing confidence in learning, but also practical applications of new subjects to establish the academic background necessary for the new school year.
