More than 7,000 VASers were excited to participate in the new school year opening ceremony

After a year of having to celebrate the new school year online due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s opening ceremony has taken place right at school in a jubilant, bustling, but equally emotional atmosphere.

The Board of Directors at the campuses distributed to students a letter from President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on the occasion of the school opening, which contained a message of determination, faith, and hope for a new journey in the new school year.

The Education sector has chosen the theme "Unity, creativity, striving to fulfil the tasks and goals of innovation, consolidating and improving the quality of education and training" for this academic year. These are also the objectives that VAS has constantly strived for in order to provide the best learning environment for students.

The students also listened to the heartfelt messages from Mr. Brian Rogove – Group CEO of XCL Education and Executive Chairman of VAS. He hopes that VAS teachers will continue instilling a positive message and values into the young generation, to build a community where every individual has the chance to grow and be the best version of themselves, leaving their positive mark on the world.

The ceremony also recognised the students who had the best results in the previous school year, which is a source of pride as well as motivation for other students in the upcoming school year.

The opening ceremony ended with the school drums and a big round of applause from all students and teachers. That is the sound that marks the beginning of a new school year, as well as the beginning of a new journey for VASers.
