Drawing your dream "Leading your life". Why not?

A new playground for VAS junior artists! The total value of the award is up to 40 million. Let’s showcase your talents and creative perspectives in the field of art through the drawing contest "Lead your life"!

What can you draw? An image you want to become in the future! A future society that you would love to see! Your beautiful views about yourself, your family, your life. The images and roles of the women in a feminist society. Or all you can imagine about the topic of mastering your life!

I. OBJECTIVES:

• Create a relaxing and fun playground for the students in the new school year
• Encourage the students to develop their artistic skills
• Maintain the inspiration and passion for the students after the sharing of stories from VAS Talk’s speakers about the topic “Lead your life”
• Award winning drawings will be selected for VAS Calendar 2018

II. RULES:

1. Participants:

• All VAS primary and secondary school students

2. Topic:

LEAD YOUR LIFE / DEFINE WOMEN’S ROLE IN SOCIETY

Suggestions for the content of the drawings

• Portrait/image you want to become in the future
• Your life choices, the challenges you want to overcome
• The society/world you want to see in the future, with your contribution in that world
• Your beliefs about yourself, family and life
• The differences you want to pursue
• Equality and women’s role in life/society, etc.

3. Specification:

• Free drawings, hand drawing, with any colors and materials, A3 paper size.

4. General regulations:

• Each student participates with 01 piece of work with content appropriate to the topic.
• Do not use Mascot images.
• Write the name of the drawing and personal information, including full name, date of birth, class, campus on the posterior page of the drawing.

• By participating this contest, the student agrees for the organizer the rights to use the drawings to share on all VAS media, such as website, facebook, newsletter, and VAS calendar… or on mass media.
  • Ensure copyright of the drawings, with no copying from other sources. The drawings are original and have not been used in any other contests.
  • In the case of finding any breaching of the contest’s regulations, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify or cancel the award of the winning drawing, and the decision of the organizer is final.

5. Timeline:

• From 22/09/2017 to 16/10/2017: students draw at their campus and submit their work to their art teacher
• 20/10/2017: Campuses gather the drawings and send all to the organizer
• 3/11/2017: The organizer informs the results to campuses.
• 01/2018: Award Ceremony in the final of VAS Got Talent 2017.

6. Reception of participating drawings:

• Marketing Department – VAS Headquarter, Ba Thang Hai Campus, 594 Ba Thang Hai, Ward 14, District 10, HCMC
• The recipient: Ms Linh Nguyen – Marketing Department.

III. MARKING SCHEME AND AWARDS:

1. Criteria:

The drawings are selected based on 3 criteria:

2. Award Structure:

Prizes for each level of Primary and Secondary School:

• 1 First prize of 3.000.000 VND
• 1 Second prize of 2.000.000 VND
• 1 Third prize of 1.500.000 VND

General awards:

• 20 Consolation prizes, each equivalent to 500.000 VND
• Each of the 12 drawings selected for Calendar printing will receive 1.000.000 VND

Awards will be in cash.
