Interesting experience in Phan Thiet field trip (3D – 2N) of VASers grade 8-9

This is one of the activities organized by the school during the school year to improve VASers' collective living skills, teamwork, confidence, and independence, and to provide them with real-world experiences beyond the pages of a book.

The students rested at The Cliff Resort & Residences after their journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet and began their picnic with a fun moment at Red Sand Dunes, a one-of-a-kind sand hill formed by an ancient iron mine that existed for hundreds of years.

Afterwards, VASers were able to enjoy the Fisherman Show and learn about the cultural identity of Phan Thiet's coastal area. The show was elaborately and spectacularly choreographed, involving more than 35 actors and local artisans who use traditional musical instruments in conjunction with modern water technologies.

The children were also able to learn about history at Duc Thanh School, which was founded by patriotic scholars Phan Thiet and where Uncle Ho used to teach, as well as visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

The Old Fishing Village Museum, Vietnam's first and only fish sauce museum also made VASers excited to explore. Students were not only able to see the relics, but also visit the 300-year-old Phan Thiet old town, where they learned about the manufacturing process and the history of the name "fish sauce".

The trip came to an end with team-building activities on the golden sand and an explosive Gala night.

The field trip not only allows students to gain more practical knowledge and connect with nature, but it also provides them with wonderful memories with their friends and teachers.
