Exciting activities for kindergarten at VAS
Kid’s Mid-autumn festival, kid’s toy day, fun with traffic safety, book workshop, and cinema in children’s eyes are exciting and meaningful activities held for preschool children at VAS in the last two weeks!
MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL FOR KIDS
Mid-Autumn Festival is always one of the most favourite and longed-for festivals for the kids. In the eager atmosphere of the Mid-autumn festival, VAS Kindergarten campuses, together with the parents, organized many fun learning activities to help them understand the meaning of this holiday. As enthusiastic participants, many parents were really touched when they saw their kids actively involved in these activities.
Parent of Cao Ngọc Bao Tran, class Pre 2.2 of Sunrise Campus, shared "I always feel assured about the school's educational approach to the pupils. Especially for the Star classes, the kids are cared for their physical, mental, and skills development and, at the same time, get to know about our culture and society. I'm so happy to join with the kids in Mid-autumn festival. Now I have more trust and more confidence in sending my kids to the school. I would always love to see the school organize more fun and useful activities like these for the kids. "
INTERESTING BOOK WORKSHOP
Reading is great for kid’s language development and imagination. By reading, kids can improve their attention span, concentration and problem-solving skills through different situations in the story.
At the beginning of October, Le Quy Don campus organized a book workshop with various useful activities such as visiting the bookstore, Mom’s storytelling time, reading with kids, etc .... The kids also created handmade books with their favorite topic!
A TOYFEST FOR KINDERGARTEN
Through the topic “Toyfest for Kids”, VAS kindy students had wonderful moments from their experiences with different kinds of toys, a variety of materials, and plentiful ways of playing. They enjoyed playing such games as “Finding Toys”, “Creative Lego”, “Who’s faster?” and “Bring toys home”. By playing these dynamic games, each kid was able to express their agility, curiousity, interest and brilliance.
As can be seen, the school’s outdoor activities have brought the pupils a dynamic learning environment, with fresh air and lots of energetic games, helping the students feel relaxed, comfortable, and happy.
FUN WITH TRAFFIC SAFETY FOR KIDS
In September, the Kindergarten pupils had such an interesting “talk show” with their favorite characters about “Traffic Safety”. They welcomed the traffic policeman to their classroom with a big round of applause and a great cheer. After the warm greeting, the pupils really paid attention to the traffic policeman’s talk and they asked a lot of questions.
They raised their little hands as high as possible so that the traffic policeman could see and call out their names. There were a lot of interesting questions: “Do you arrest the robbers?”, “Which equipment do you use?”, “Why are the traffic lights green, red and yellow?” … The conversations continued nearly endlessly that way with the kids’ innocent questions.
