The summer camp opened from June 13, 2022 and has received impressive participation with nearly 2,000 registrations from Kindergarten to Secondary students inside and outside VAS!
At the VAS summer camp, all students will take part in cooking and home economics class, STEAM, swimming, and 5 hours of project-based lessons per week.
Children are encouraged to exercise and develop their physical skills and talents through various sports such as football, basketball, badminton, chess, dodgeball; and performance skills such as singing and keyboarding, traditional dance and modern dance.
Day trips for all grades and 2 unique discovery camps in Hoi An - Da Nang (grades 5-7) and Quang Binh (grades 8-9) help children develop skills, connect with nature and cultivate teamwork skills
In addition, students also develop all 4 English skills including Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing through various practical activities with foreign teachers (3 hours/week) and enrich academic English vocabulary to get ready for the Cambridge and national education programmes in the coming new school year.
The programme also provides Kindergarten students a foundation of knowledge to prepare them for grade 1, with 4 classes/week teaching the national education programme and 3 classes/week teaching Maths, English, and Science in the Cambridge programme.
