Follow VASERs to discover the Southwest of Viet Nam!
In the early morning of July 1, 2022, students of grades 6-10 gathered at their campus in excitement to head towards Ben Tre. The children had a fun day discovering and experiencing the real-life activities of local people, culture, and cuisine there.
Kicking off the trip with team-building activities which simulated folk games such as: Throwing a can, rowing a boat, putting cannons up the hill, and archery...; the VASERs were excited to participate and show solidarity to take on and conquer these challenges in an exciting and cheerful atmosphere.
After these activities, the students also enjoyed the fruit and observed the process of making coconut candy - an indispensable specialty in Ben Tre and listened to traditional folk music "Don Ca Tai Tu".
The field trip is an opportunity for VASERs to observe and learn more things from life and have memorable moments with friends, improving solidarity, expanding knowledge as well as discovering Vietnamese culture. Let's continue to look forward to the next exciting trips at VAS!
