Result announcement of the Writing Contest "VAS Through My Eyes"

With the theme "VAS Through My Eyes" this year, the organizers received many articles and stories from student, parents, and teachers with honest and touching sharings about their memories at VAS. Every participant, through their own experiences and feelings, has written different stories about VAS, but all of these stories carry spiritual values, inspiration and a reminder for us to cherish the present moment, because one day those will become a memory…

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien, representative of the contest’s judges commented: “It is really difficult to choose only 50 articles out of more than 150 that got into the final of the VAS Book project, because each article is a precious and very emotional feeling of every student. In the eyes of them and under their pen, VAS appears so vividly with full of love and pride. This year's VAS Book theme really aroused emotions for the students. The writings are emotional but also full of creativity. There, readers can see the richness and diverse in their souls. Unforgettable experiences with teachers and friends, the impressions on the first day of school, trips, volunteering activities, festivals... all have created a colorful picture for VAS Book this year. Although there are still clumsy expressions, and unpolished words, but I recognize and appreciate their honest feelings. Those are the innocent and cute emotions in the writings of the primary school children, and the nostalgic feelings of the students in the senior grades. VAS Book is really an opportunity for student to write and express their love to the school. Surely, it will be a beautiful memory, a memorable guestbook that you will carry along your journey to the future.”

VAS would like to congratulate the 5 best works that will receive prizes worth 2,500.00 VND/prize.

Besides, 45 works selected for the VAS Book will also receive royalties worth 500,000 VND/article. Congratulations to the owner of these 45 excellent works!

The authors of the 50 excellent works will be given 1 VAS Book and a certificate from the contest at the Book Launching and Painting Exhibitions, expected to be held in Term 2, school year 2021-2022.
