Champion of VAS's Got Talent 2016

For the second year running, the talent show, VAS’s Got Talent was organized by Vietnam Australia International School. Hundreds of students auditioned at the seven VAS campuses, leaving judges with the difficult job of choosing just 31 acts for the final show. Performances included, but were not limited to singing, dancing, drama, martial arts, magic tricks and instrumental numbers.

Journey to the Final Round

The quality of performances improved remarkably from the first contest in 2015 to the 2016 VAS's Got Talent. It was a tough competition and a difficult job for the judges with so many great performances. The students demonstrated confidence and passion when performing on the big stage. It was clear that students had invested a lot of time and effort into their performances, such as " The magnanimous Drums" – Phan Xich Long campus, "Drum Performance" - Tran Cao Van campus, "Mermaid" drama - the Ba Thang Hai kindergarten and "A Glimpse of Vietnam" dance – Sunrise campus.

Lots of colors and emotions

This year, VAS's Got Talent also received great support from parents. The song "7 core values", was composed by a parent from Phan Xich Long campus and has been given as a gift to VAS.

The final result saw Le Thuc Truc from class 8.1 at Sunrise campus become take first place. Joint second prize was awarded to Vo Huy Khanh and Vo Nam Khanh, class 5.1 from Tran Cao Van campus for the Drum performance and Thai Thi Ha Vy, class 10E1 from 3/2 campus for her solo performance of "Listen". Three acts took third prize.
