VAS welcomes 2 Executive Cluster School Directors at 2 new mega campuses

In August, the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) will officially launch two new Mega Campuses: Sala Mega Campus in District 2 and Riverside Mega Campus in District 7. Along with the preparation for these 2 biggest and most modern campuses is the participation of 2 experienced international educators in the school operation and development board of VAS. Mr. Clive Keevil from Australia is the Executive Cluster School Director in charge of developing and managing Sala Mega Campus - District 2 while Mr. Neville Sherman from the United Kingdom is the Executive Cluster School Director of Riverside Mega Campus – District 7. Both Executive Cluster School Directors have more than 30 years of experience in managing many international schools all over the world. This is a strategic move of VAS after successfully opening Garden Hills Campus in Go Vap, continuing to expand the bilingual education system in Districts 2 and 7 in the school year 2018-2019.

Sala Mega Campus is the first campus of VAS in District 2, officially welcomes its students since August 2018

Much of Mr. Clive Keevil’s educational experience is related to the setting up, development and operation of international schools, including the accreditation and supervision of innovative projects. Having previously lived in Ho Chi Minh City and on the Executive Director of an International School in HCMC, he has a deep understanding of the culture as well as the educational needs of Vietnamese families. Meanwhile, Mr. Neville Sherman has more than 35 years of experience and started from a committed teacher to become a Principal within 11 years while in the UK. Later, he developed his management profession of large-scale international schools in Central Asia. Both Clive and Neville will join the Executive Board of VAS to synchronize the operation of the entire VAS system through the group management of other VAS campuses.

To invite international experts in education to participate in the Board of management is the strategy of VAS to quickly update the optimal operation, develop advanced teaching methods and increase add valuable activities for students. In addition to improving the operation of the campuses, synchronizing and standardizing the quality of international education programmes; both new Executive Cluster School Directors will focus on the activities that enhance family-school co-operation and complement each development phase of the students, from preschool to high school.

The green landscape of Riverside Mega Campus - District 7 with a capacity of nearly 2,000 students

The Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) currently has seven campuses in Ho Chi Minh City, providing bilingual education from kindergarten to high school. VAS is a member of the Cambridge International School which teaches the Cambridge Curriculum in parallel with the National Curriculum.

Both new campuses have modern architectural styles and facilities

The two new Sala Mega Campus in District 2 and Riverside Mega Campus in District 7 will be officially in operation in August 2018, capable of welcoming 2,000 students per campus and bring the total of 9 VAS campuses in HCMC .
