Smart board application training at VAS, 2013-2014

Having realized the positive impact of the application of information technology in teaching and learning, since August 12, 2013 the school has been implementing the application of smart boards for all grades of the Cambridge International Program. Besides such modern facilities like computers, speakers, projectors at the moment, smart boards have brought high interactivity and utility to help teachers inspire students more effectively than traditional teaching methods.

During the training session, teachers practiced using the boards to prepare lesson plans in Mathematics, Science and English. In particular, teachers were shown how to help students use the boards to enhance awareness and creative thinking. Teachers can start teaching with large touch screens and styluses by writing, controlling, moving and erasing objects very quickly.
