Announcement letter regarding the online working from home of our Head Office and all campuses until the end of April 5th, 2020

Dear Parents,

VAS would like to update on the online working from home of our Head Office and all campuses until the end of April 5th, 2020.

Following the official instruction from the Government and the People's Committee of HCMC on traveling limitation to minimize the risk of Covid-19 infection in the coming weeks, the VAS Board of Management has decided that all teachers and staff from the Head Office and 7 campuses will starting working online at home from Monday, March 23rd until the end of April 5th, 2020. This means that when the school reopens on Monday, April 6th, 2020, we will have all teachers and staff socially distanced for 14 days as recommended by the authorities. We believe that this decision is crucial to protect the health and safety of all VAS staff and teachers at the peak time of the outbreak. Meanwhile, we are implementing all the infection prevention and control measures, as well as sanitizing all the campuses to prepare for the school reopening that is expected to be on April 6th, 2020.

All online teaching activities for students will be maintained while our teachers are working from home. During this period, parents can contact the homeroom teachers or subject teachers to be updated on your children's studies or contact your campus’s hotline as below for any other issues:

  • Ba Thang Hai Mega campus: (028) 3864 1770 / 72
  • Sala Mega campus: (028) 3622 0833
  • Riverside Mega campus: (028) 3622 0898
  • Garden Hills Mega campus: (028) 3588 3088
  • Sunrise campus: (028) 6260 7272
  • Phan Xich Long campus: (028) 3517 2747 / 49
  • Hoang Van Thu campus: (028) 3999 0112

For the health and safety of all students and the whole community, we are doing our utmost efforts to limit the risk of infection and fight the spread of the disease. Please be assured that VAS staff and teachers have been strictly implementing the travel declaration, limiting travel outside Ho Chi Minh City and temporary working online. In addition, the School will continue to strengthen disinfection and sanitation arrangements in all its campuses following the medical instructions.

We highly appreciate the support and cooperation of all parents and students during this time!

Sincerely,

VAS Board of Management
