VAS organized a seminar on nutrition for parents
In order to provide parents with useful information on nutrition, VAS organized two nutrition seminars, with the participation of parents from 7 campuses on December 2nd and 17th, 2017. These seminars update the parents with how to enhance their children’s maximum height, and, at the same time, introduce food delivery procedures and improve the quality of food at our school.

The seminars focused on two topics: “Nutrition for Height Growth” and "Modern Lifestyles and Balanced Diets" were led by Dr. Dao Thi Yen Thuy, Specialist I, Nutritionist of Hanh Phuc International Hospital.

One of VAS's top priorities is, in collaboration with the parents, to help the students achieve a well-rounded, intellectual, physical, emotional, and aesthetical development. We understand that proper and healthy nutrition intake plays an important role in such development of our students. Besides the constant efforts in improving the catering service and ensuring food safety matters, VAS constantly organizes nutrition seminars to keep the parents updated with the most useful information.

At these two seminars, Dr. Dao Thi Yen Thuy presented the parents with information on proper nutrition for different age levels and how to best enhance the children's height growth and the practice of balanced diets in modern lifestyles. The program also shared information from Mr. Stephen Kerslake, Executive Director of The Caterers Food Supply Co., Ltd., on the meal delivery process and improvements of food quality and service at VAS. There was also shared information from Mr. Henri-Charles Claude, General Director of Aden Services Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) on the catering service at VAS. The seminars received a lot of attention, companionship and positive feedback from VAS parents.
