VAS Honors the Creative and Talented Teachers

Since launching in October 2015, the contest has attracted more than 90 registered teachers. Prior to the final round, the teachers would have already gone through the tests at their own branches, then would have been evaluated for their innovative ideas and practical teaching methods by the Board of Judges. For this finale, the Judges have had a lot of good impressions of creative teaching sessions from the teachers and from selecting the topics of the methods of their teaching. There were sessions which used new ways of storytelling or used modern technology to get the students familiar with the alphabet, or designed a new game to recognize each of the letters; all of which have created excitement for the students in Kindergarten. In Primary School, the teachers have maintained and improved their good teaching performances, but still do not have many breakthrough topics to show off.

Particularly in Secondary Grades, teachers have accessed a new direction for the General Education program, making the learning process meaningful by relating the students’ knowledge to everyday life and integrating the school world into their real life. The teachers understand the abilities of their students when they are put in situations which require the use of knowledge and skills such as mathematical modeling or implementing theoretical literature into practical life.

As the final result in Kindergarten, the First Prize belongs to Ms. Le Thi Hong Son (LQD), Two Second Prizes to Ms. Nguyen Pham Bich Ngoc (SR) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong (BTH). Two Third Prizes belong to two teachers Ms. Bui Thi Tuong Van (LQD) and Bui Thi Hong Hanh (BTH).

In the Primary Grades, Ms. Ho Ngoc Ha (BTH) has won the First Prize, the two second prizes were awarded to Ms Nguyen Thi Ai Nhi (SR) and Ms. Vu Thi Nga (HVT). Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh (BTH), Nguyen Thi Thu Ha (SR) and Nguyen Thi Tuoi (HVT) together won the two Third Prizes.

Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thoa (BTH), Ms. Doan Van Tam (HVT) and Ms. Quan Ngoc Thao (BTH) all won the First Prizes in the Secondary Grades. Ms. Vo Thi Kim Thoa (SR), Ms. Bui Thanh Van (SR) and Ms. Nguyen Hoang Tuyet Nhung (BTH) won the Second Prizes. The Third Prizes belong to Ms. Doan Thi Kieu Giang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc (BTH), Ms. Tran Nguyen Hong Phuc (BTH), Mr. Do Ngoc Toan (HVT) and Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue (HVT).

The contest is considered a factor for assessing the quality of our teachers, from which we may build training programs to enhance the professional qualifications for all VAS teachers to meet the requirements of the National education program. Through the contest, VAS also recognizes and replicates the examples of the best teachers from each level in order to build the necessary human resources who perform and deliver the educational mission of the school system.
